You have set standards now mate that maybe only you will be able to meet for the next few years. It would be a shame to let the event slip

Re: MGLive! - 10th-12th July 2009
Off the top of my head, the tickets on the door are £5 extra. But, circuit tours are unlikely to be for sale then, as they will have sold out in the advance sales.
We are getting around 100 booking forms returned each day, and almost as many through the online sales. And hardly any of these are for just one ticket!
The changes for this year are certainly not down to just me, the whole organising committee have been working hard to make it bigger and better. I just can't see myself being able to go through a second year of working on MGLive, MGFest, StarCar project, and all the other director/committee duties! Hopefully I can do a few less next year, as it's a bit much at the moment!

Seb, I think you better go ahead and book as I don't want you let down at the last minute. I was hoping to help you out but I'm not going to know unti the last week before and it'll be too late to pre-order by then. Sorry mate!
I'm still on for the Sunday though. We need to decide where/when we're meeting up...

Some exciting news about the Gymkhana at MGLive! Might be of particular interest to DaveD, seeing as he came 2nd in the fun driving tests at MGFest07, and the gymkhana is kind of similar but requires a passenger

Re: MGLive! - 10th-12th July 2009
Bad news guys... I won't be able to make MGLive after all. I had completely forgotten about a family commitment that I cannot get out of. I am seriously gutted as I've been going to Silverstone for many years and always love it.
Especially an apology to Seb as I was going to be driving down with him.
All I can say is everybody have a great time and take loads of pics. I'd love a write-up for the website too, which will hopefullyhave the 'new look' updates finished very shortly. The turnout from SmS is usually very good and this year looks to be the same.

Seb I'm heading in early on saturday morning, so you can convoy in with me and Mike if you want The girls are camping the night before so when we arrive they should have a brew on
Otherwise if you're in on Sunday give us a bell.... Mobile sent by PM should be a great day, really looking forward to next weekend.

Sorry to see you wont be making it this year mate.
I'll try and remember to get my camera charged and get some photos, as it sounds like all that Daved will be getting photos of is the MGB car park!
