Wheels in Winslow - 31st August 2009

We've been invited to an event in Winslow (MK18 3HL), organised by the Lions Club of Winslow in co-operation with the Winslow Show Association. They are expanding their traditional country show with vehicle displays and want a variety of vintage, classic and sports cars.
The show is on Bank Holiday Monday, 31st August. If we have enough interest, we'll have a convoy to the event. They have asked if we can arrive in convoy to guarantee we're all parked together, as this is their first year doing this kind of event and they are not sure of numbers with all the other invited guests.
If you're interested in joining our line-up, please add your name to the thread.

Is everyone on the list still up for this?
Provisionally, we'll meet up at the Toby Carvery, East Hunsbury at 8.30am. We can pick up Lee and Stu at the Coffee Pot, Yardley Gobion as usual on the way past.
This is quite a new event and they haven't got specific areas reserved for clubs etc, so to guarantee we'll be together we'll enter the event as a convoy and park up making a 'sort of' display, with the banner up in front.

Well I have to say, after the initial enthusiasm for this new event, this is not looking good... A shame as it would have been a good place to promote the club and maybe do some recruitment.
If nobody else wants to go, I think we'll have to call this one off...
Dave, you could always tell your dad there are loads of car boots... with the rest of the car attached as a bonus!

Goodness me I dont come on for a couple of days and you're cancelling stuff 
after the work I put in with my good lady to get a pass out I hope this is still happening?
