Abingdon MG Parts (David Manners)

Post  Seb on 19/3/2009, 2:15 pm

Afternoon all,

Has anyone got a different telephone number to contact Abingdon?

I have been trying for 2 days now by calling 01215 444444 but it constantly diverts to voicemail and they haven't called me back? Rolling Eyes Evil or Very Mad

Marcus - I know you mentioned on Sunday that you had spoken to them recently to chase your order, what number did you use?

Cheers
Seb

I have just managed to get through to them on the telephone and spoke to a man called Mike Stewart,

Some of you may recall that I bought my rear lights from Abingdon at the Stoneleigh show in February, well driving back from the recent Pub meet on sunday Dave & Carol happened to notice that one of my brake lights was less bright than the other.

After investigating, the reason for this was because the brake light bulb had worked itself loose, and was resting on the plastic holder which it fits into. Due to the heat produced by the bulb it actually melted the plastic holder which is now stoipping the bulb from fitting in the light.

Unfortunately when I purchased the lights at Stoneleigh I was never issued a receipt and therefore have no proof of purchase. Although I havent got a receipt Mike at Abingdon has been extremely helpful and trustworthy and is sending me a replacement lamp.

I am therefore recommending the service they have supplied and would recommend them to anyone wishing to purchase any parts/mods.

Many thanks
Seb
