Pride of Longbridge Rally - 16th April 2011

It's the Pride of Longbridge Rally this month, again held in Cofton Park opposite the Longbridge MG factory. This has always been a great show with a wide range of vehicles on display. Once again, we'll be taking the SmS gazebo (first trip out for the new one, as long as it arrives in time!) and convoying/parking together. Details can be discussed at the Northants pub meeting this coming Thursday.

Aaargh how did I miss this one, I'm tied up the whole day, it was a fantastic outing last year, great weather and 2 visits to the ice-cream van if I remember correctly

I was originally going to take the pickup and ZS this year as Fizzbot is coverd up in metro parts lol, then I ended up taking pickup off the road as its rotten way more than I had originally thought so it would just be ZS, but now I've realised Im actually working so I'm most likely going to miss it
If I have a quiet morning at work then I will do my best to pop down but I'll have to keep you posted on the day.

My TF had a face lift over the weekend, I have to post some images once I have the new silver steering wheel on. (Thanks again Lee & Jo).

Does, doesn't it... and this being such a great event with loads of excellent cars - classic, modern, restored and modded - and a pilgrimage to where our cars were born! Something interesting for everyone but just not good enough to attract our fellow members...

So can I just confirm a few things?

All, how about meeting at the Travelodge at Old Stratford? Or the Crossroads at Weedon. I can work out a route and then advise a time to meet for each.

Lee, is Herbie going straight to the venue and then coming back with you?

Iain (Captain Slow), do you want to join us on a convoy then?

Iain (Crazyyen), is the suggested convoy start point a bit out of the way for you or are you happy doing an extra bit driving just so you can join us?
