Haven't done the website quite yet (too busy playing with my new car!), but the pics are all on photobucket so have a look here...

Excellent work Stewart, Lee and all the others who helped out to make Silverstone better than ever! cheers

Nice photo's Rich, but no piccy of whenLee ran like a girl and jumped into Stu's arms Surprised .
Seriously there were a couple of times I really winced when Russ was doing his 'car dancing' and it looked like he would hit Stu or Lees car - awesome...
Nice work on the Microphone stu, nice comedy acting Lee, good on you both Cool Very Happy

Was that the one from Loaky? If so, I've asked if I can have it at full resolution as I want to get a large print. Is a great pic.

BTW on that particular run, Max was in the passenger seat, and Kat was in the back!

When i told lee over the radio to bring his car over, he did sound a little unsure, but he did consent without me twisting his arm behind his back!!!! So glad we did it, and the good that has done for us with regard to the MGCC and the Chinese is huge. I have already had some contact with NAC-UK about helping me out with the NEC Classic Motor Show!

Ok, so after I had spent 4 days working at Silverstone, the overall organiser of the Arena gave me a little treat. I'd said how much I'd love to have an original MG TF, and so on Sunday he gave me the keys to his 1951 MG TD Mark II (the model before the TF), and said I could take it out for a drive!

Wow, what a wonderfull experience, it put a huge smile on my face, and so trusting of him to hand over the keys to a £20,000 car and let me go off in it. Kathryn came with me, and she loved every minute of it. It was a beautiful car and was actually pretty nippy, but as you'd expect from a car that is 57 years old, the brakes and handling are not quite that of the MGF!!! All I can say is I now what an old TF even more!

The first thing I did when I set off was to head off to the F/TF parking area and show it off to the volunteers working their, and they were VERY jealous!

ooh those are really good photos Andy, captures the 'smell' of fear that filled the arena when I was watching, they were very brave lads I thought. - (That or Lee is easily led, not 100% sure Laughing )
