We'll be meeting at the Sixfields cinema car park at 7:45am for an 8am departure. We should be passing the Daventry pick-up point between 8:15am and 8:20am. Providing the roads are clear and the weather is reasonable we should reach Stoneleigh at around 9am which is when the pre-bookers are allowed in.
Carting!

Looking forward to it, more so this year. All will become clear, looking back... Suspect

Are we still on for 7.45am meet up at sixfields ... yawn! Lots of coffee first thing methinks? Big eyes!

Yup, that's still the plan. Hoping it won't be raining as all hoods will be down for the convoy! Thumbs up

On sale at the venue... at typical venue prices!

Yes, but this time remember its a rolling start. If you're not ready to pull away as we drive past, you'll have to catch up after! Laughing

OK so I think we should make the Daventry meet just along from intapart , theres the old Texaco garage (which has closed,) it's about 100m further up the road this affords a better view of approaching cars and there's plenty of space to park up. shall we meet there at 08:10 on the morining?
The weathers meant to be dry and about 6 degrees....Smile

If your not rushing Iain then 10.30/11am onwards is usually quite free flowing at the gates and the main door to get in, as all the crazy people with advanced tickets can get in from 9am onwards.

Don't know why they rush to get in as there is never really any bargains to be had, well I say that as I can never find any when I go around the place so if everyone is kind enough to stay in bed till 10 I may be able to get myself some good deals

Cheers

Its snowed in Daventry! See you all at the meet point for a hood down snowball fight. My suspension is running really low in this cold climate.

It snowed in Weedon as well!
Two years ago it was very white, but soon melted and turned very slushy at Stoneleigh.

Excellent day out and the weather wasn't too shabby either, apart from the temperature but that's good practice for FRL! There seemed to be even less stuff than last year, and a whole hall missing, but I think general attendance was up.
Freezing

TC got a pressie, along with Charlie (my dad's MGF, so named as he's always at the tail end of any convoy we do!)... A lovely new BAS heated glass rear window! Pics will be up once the car is clean again (flippin' road grime!).

I hope those on the convoy enjoyed the country route. Believe it or not, it was almost a straight line from Northampton. Went for the easy option on the way back with a blast along the M45 and M1.

So Ed, what did you actually buy then? Suspect Coffee

Well, I bought a set of front mudflaps. Hi/Lo horns and a spare wheel retainer (a £2 one, not a £20 one as they were priced at one seller !). Also bought a few bits from a tool stall.

Ed bought a full set of mudflaps, pair of Hi/Lo horns, central locking/door catch motor and maybe a few other bits but can't remember what. He did not succumb to the temptation of Miltek or calipers.

Oh, and he bought me my birthday present - rear light covers for the TF Well done!

Perhaps should keep it quiet on here, but we also took out joint MGCC membership - Hide behind the sofa figured it was worth it to get the discount on the mudflaps plus future discounts on MG Live etc
