Insurance has gone mad

Post  Sambomonkee on 27/3/2012, 12:24 am

Just went to change my ZS (sporty V6 boy racer car), over to the ZT 1.8 engine old man car, and it has come out £66 pounds a year more than the ZS, the world has gone mad. Oh, that does including 18 pounds "adjustment fee", gits.

The ZT is a more complex car meaning more complex (read expensive) repairs which I guess out weight the slightly reduced risk of TWOC'ers taking an interest in it.

Insurance is strange as the quotes I was getting for a 2.5 ZT were £1500 cheaper than the 2.5 ZS

Just had my renewal from Direct Line for the 135 and it has gone up by over £250. Thats after being with them for 4 years Evil or Very Mad

No claims in that time either..

So... female driver, MGTF135 1.8... almost £800.

Funny though, same cover (with some breakdown cover also) with Shelias Wheels for £273.00.

No brainer really

I thought they were owned by the same group as Elephant/Admiral.

Tesco Insurance are the same as Direct Line.
